OSE Led a British Delegation to China to Attend an International Seminar on Sustainable Management of Water Resources in the Context of Urbanisation
Director Dr Samuel Chen organised and led a British delegation in collaboration with the UK Trade & Investment and the British Consulate General in Guangzhou to participate in an international seminar on sustainable management of water resources in the context of urbanisation in Changsha, Hunan Province, China during 21 - 24 May 2014. The seminar was organised by ASEM Water Resources Research and Development Centre, and sponsored by the Asia-Europe Foundation, and China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Science and Technology. The delegation was composed of senior representatives from the University of Oxford, the University of Edinburgh, the Knowledge Transfer Networks of the Technology Strategy Board, the Centre for Ecology and Hydrology, and Red Skies Limited.
